Maine’s Back to Work Program – Benefit or Burden?

 

Governor Mills has announced the new “Back to Work” program to incentivize Mainers to come off unemployment and re-enter the workforce. A bonus of up to $1500 may be paid to employees who come off unemployment.

However, the burden of administering this program falls largely to employers.
